When I speak on the topic of the  different Hidden Handicaps that many individuals deal with on a daily basis I always try to first share my appreciation and respect to those whose Handicaps or rather, “Challenges,” which are obvious such as, blindness,  someone wheelchair bound, amputees , deformities and many others who have overcome these obstacles and have gone on to achieve their own personal goals. I shared the story about my cousin who made wrong decisions about drugs and was killed at the young age of 18.
